At 9:00 am, we will pick you up and head to Cerro Nutibara, home of the famous PUEBLITO PAISA, a replica of a typical Antioquian village where its architecture and atmosphere will transport you through time, bringing you closer to the culture and history of the region.
Then, we will immerse ourselves in the heart of the city and, accompanied by an expert guide, we will tour the historic center. We will talk about the arrival of the railroad in Antioquia, the “LA ALPUJARRA” Administrative Center, admire the cutting-edge LIGHTS PARK, and visit iconic places such as BOTERO PLAZA, known for the iconic sculptures of local artist Fernando Botero, the CULTURE PALACE, and the NATIONAL PALACE, which houses a beautiful art collection.
Next, we will take various public transports to experience firsthand how locals travel for their errands, with the most notable being the METRO CABLE. Get your camera ready to capture the incredible 360° panoramic views of the city from above!
Finally, we will descend and visit COMUNA 13, a neighborhood historically affected by violence that has undergone a great social and economic transformation thanks to state projects such as the installation of escalators, hip-hop culture, and urban art. We will walk through its colorful streets and murals, attend breakdance and freestyle music shows, and taste artisanal ice cream. HOW AWESOME!
