At 8:30 am we will meet in Medellin to start this exciting journey. To start the day with the best energy, we will take a short break on the way to enjoy a RICH TYPICAL BREAKFAST. Afterwards, we will pass through the town of NUEVO PEÑOL and its FAMOUS REPLICA, a scale imitation of the old town square where we can enjoy a majestic view over the dam and admire the colonial style of its architecture.
Wait, THE BEST IS YET TO COME: THE PEÑOL ROCK! Can you imagine climbing the 700 steps that lead to the top of this enormous batholith and being rewarded with a spectacular 360º view of the surrounding landscape? Sounds incredible, doesn’t it? Be amazed by the nature around you as you ascend this inmense granite rock. You will have 1h20 minutes to conquer the summit. Are you up for the challenge?
After the exciting ascent to the Piedra del Peñol, we will have a DELICIOUS TRADITIONAL LUNCH to recharge your batteries. Then we will continue our tour with a relaxing LUXURY BOAT RIDE along the dam, where you will be able to see the islands that emerge from the water as well as breathtaking views and important properties.
Finally, we will take a short walking tour with our guide, exploring the most emblematic corners of Guatapé, such as the ICONIC UMBRELLAS’ STREET, the ZÓCALOS SQUARE, the MEMORY STREET, the COMMERCE STREET, the STREET OF JULIA “LA PASTUSA”, the MAIN PARK and the CHURCH.
Then you will have some FREE TIME to continue discover GUATAPÉ on your own pace or if you wish to complement your experience by riding a JETSKI or taking a HELICOPTER flight, creating moments that will remain forever in your heart!
On the way to Medellín, we will stop to share with charming LLAMAS, where we can feed them and spend some time with these friendly creatures.

The tour guide was amazing! My friends and I really enjoyed everything about this tour, there was a lot to see and do. The transportation was also very comfortable. Great value for your money! Our only critique was the food, medellín has so many good food spots but the breakfast and lunch options fell a bit short
